Carrefour is a French multinational retailer and one of the largest hypermarket chains in the world. In the UAE, it is a joint venture with the Majid Al Futtaim group. In 1995, Carrefour opened its first hypermarket in City Centre Deira, UAE and through the years, expanded to over 175 Carrefour stores in 15 countries across the region, serving over 200,000 customers a day.

As part of Carrefour’s expanding network, Amana contracted Blue Rhine Industries to provide high level signage for the end client’s new distribution center. We enhanced the brand language through translation of the logo into 3D. This complied with the regional standards and the signs are some of the largest seen in the UAE. All products were manufactured and installed in 20 days. We dealt with all the coordination, health and safety, structural design and to ensure the lettering met expectations, provided a full-size illuminated prototype.
