Novo Cinemas is a theatre chain based in the UAE. It currently has 15 branches in the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain with a total of over 150 screens. It was previously known as Grand Cinemas but was rebranded to Novo Cinemas in 2014. Their outlets offer a chic movie-going experience with technological innovations like having the largest IMAX with laser projection in the Middle East and North Africa region.

New signage needed to be designed and implemented at each location in order to make people in the region aware of the change in name across the network. Novo Cinemas engaged Blue Rhine Industries to partner with them in bringing the rebranding strategy to life across key locations. The goal was to develop and implement a plan that would achieve the organisation’s branding objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
Our design team explored materials and prototypes for client approval and kicked off detailed planning sessions that would lay the foundation for effective implementation. We worked closely with our client to gather detailed information resulting in the fabrication and installation of the signs in a successful and effective manner.
